The man thing

There's this saying that when one start dating they will "heavy sex light friend"... Wukakaka... that's a direct translation from the chinese saying which means they will forget the friends and focus on their bf/gf.

I guess most people would like their partner to be devoted to them instead of their family, relatives and friends.

Are you intimidated by your partner's friends and people who are taking up more time or attention of his/her compared to you as his/her gf/bf someone who potentially maybe the one who spend the rest of his/her lifetime with?

It is said that guys are especially into the "brotherhood" compared to girls who tend to ditch their friends after they are in a relationship.

How do you feel to know that you will always be one step behind his friends and he will lie for the sake of his friends? Or would you prefer to choose a guy who other guys will probably point and laugh at him becoz he is so-called "scare of his gf/wife" but prefers to tell you everything?

Men are species who wants face more than women does when it comes to a "manhood" reputation.

I guess perhaps it is due to our society and the stereotype thing. But as the world is becoming more equal, woman maybe better in man both in work and financial status, does that mean women have the right to be the way man acts like?

I don't mean to "gek sei" him.....

Last weekend, Calv was complaining to me something about his work. I can't really remember what I answered, but he asked me to be supportive. Thus, spontaneously I laid my hand firmly on his shoulder. He turned and looked at me and asked me, "What are you doing?". I answered him, "Being supportive lor." and shoot him with an evil grin.

Of course, he got gek sei.....

Moral of the story: A laugh will keep away woes and stresses better than words of comfort. It will sway you away from negative thoughts.

We had dinner at 1920, an Italian restaurant at the Curve. Nowadays, most restaurant have pictures hanging on their wall as decorative purposes. My attention was drawn towards 2 big pictures hanging on a wall. I can recognize one of the picture which is the bridge of sighs in Venice, Italy. However, I am still juggling to analyse the other picture. Calv goes, "That's Italy." I was in deep thoughts trying to figure out whether it is in Italy and it slowly come into my senses that it is truly Italy. I was so impressed with Calv's knowledge, I excited acclaimed to him, "Wah, why you so smart one, so fast can recognize?" He looked at with the-matter-of-fact look and said, "Cause we are in an Italian restaurant?". Trust me, the looks I gave him was EPIC (as described by Calv). Well, he didn't know I was thinking hard there and I look adorable moron struck when I am stunned gua....

This one I am not sure he gek sei or I gek sei.......

Moral of the story: The type of cuisine of a restaurant tend to put the photos of the origin of the country.

This one is a story that Calv likes to tell around. There's this one time I was asking him, "Eh eh, you wanna drink soya bean or not?" while we are eating out. I am refering to the soya bean truck which sells one of my fav tau fu fa and soya bean drinks. He answered, "No." I answered him, "Yeah, I also don't want." I sounded genuinely happy and continued eating. He looked at me one kind and asked, "Then why you ask?" I said, "Dunno, but I memang dun want mar, but you also dun want, just feel happy we think alike mar."

He said he really gek sei wor.....

Moral of the story: Despite how much I love certain food, doesn't mean everytime I would say yes..... Wukakaka....

Okay, I have an explanation for being such a lovely headache girlfriend. I have use enough brain juice during working weekdays. Weekend is total relaxation for me and not to stress myself at all (or at least to the minimum). Therefore............. errr, I dun use my brain!?!??! Okay, this sounds so wrong..... Sigh... sometimes explaining is worse than remaining silent.

Anyways, the 3 examples listed above are just a few out of the many EPISODES generated out from me..... The terminology EPISODES are created by Calv with all these spices I added into his life I guess. Well, I think I been mostly carefree and happy-go-lucky when I am relax, but it takes another person to appreciate spot/laugh/point out these little things about me.

Moral of the story: I don't know....

Jealousy and/but trust

Quoted from wikipedia:

Jealousy typically refers to the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that occur when a person believes a valued relationship is being threatened by a rival. This rival may or may not know that he or she is perceived as a threat.

Well, it seems that most definition of jealousy is refering to a relationship between a man and a woman. However, I believe jealousy involves more than just betweem a man and woman relationship. Anyways, this is not my point of this post.

I wonder if anyone agrees with me that JEALOUSY IS A GOOD THING. Let me elaborate a bit. If you are not jealous over your partner's flings, flies, mosquitos, bees (I wonder what is with all the insects name), god-sistersss (this is so lame, you guys) and etc, that is actually a bad sign. Jealousy in a way indicates that you care and you are in love with your partner. However, obsession and control freak is just a line of difference.

Being said that, jealousy should be under control. The last thing you wanna do is make your partner go out of breathe.

However, if you once feel jealous over a particular girl/boy or girls/boys over your partner, but one day out of the blue you do not feel that anymore (perhaps after seeing them hanging out together, the sms, the phone chats, the facebook-ing, the friendster-ing, the msn-ing etc)... does that mean...

1. You finally trust your partner?

2. You are not bothered by the "rival" anymore

OR

3. You don't have feelings/love your partner anymore?

I guess it is a rather scary thing when one cannot figure out which is the real indication/feeling when that occurs.

Are you sure Malaysia's people income sucks?

Yesterday I went to Matta fair for a bloody 5 hours and end up with NOTHING.

Basically,
1. Overpriced
2. Fully booked for Raya holidays

As a result of the long hours there, I became dehyrated and end up with a flu today. So sad.

However, I realised one thing ---> you can meet people in Matta fair.

I saw my collegemate with his gf, my current Malay colleague and I get spotted by a friend who is too shy to come and say hi but asked me in MSN today whether I was in Matta fair yesterday (faints).

Celebration of Meor's birthday

Last Friday, the girls and I went out to celebrate Meor's birthday. We had dinner at the Shanghai restaurant located in Avenue K. The food is ok-ok only, after that we went to Isetan for a short walk and proceeded to sky bar for drinks and chill out, then we end up at Poppy for an hour, and alas call it quits for the night.

We all came to a conclusion: We are too old for clubbing (Full stop)

Here are some pictures we caught for the night.

Meor with her first birthday cake ---> Mooncake.

We sang birthday song out loud (I know is embarassing at a bar) and wish her find a bf ASAP (guys ---> She is out for grab!!!).

Guess what ---> As soon as she open her eyes, the bartender came over and said a guy opposite the swimming pool wants to treat the birthday gal a drink and invite her over (talk about birthday wishes come true!!!)

After much persuasion assurance, she went over. While the rest of the good friends.... laugh our ass off of course!!!

FYI, the ang moh is rather cute (we all agree).

Info provided by meor --> From US, in IT line, only be here for a few days for business trip, and he thinks the mooncake is too sweet.

Sigh.... we need to educate her how to pick up guys. Hahahahaha

This is the "second" cake. I brought it from the Japanese cake shop next to isetan. It is rather nice for a cream cheese cake and not too rich. This time we didn't sing birthday song....
