Open your eyes, listen tentatively and DO NOT follow your heart

Fighting alone in a war with only a single mission in your mind makes you fought and fought till you are hurt, severely damaged and sometimes death.....

What if, one day, someone told you, "Why are you in a war? Why do you follow this mission? Why don't you try other alternatives? Why do you wanna get hurt when you can be not?"

Will you suddenly get stunned and think for a while why are you in that position?

If you are a fighter, you would by all means try to find a reason(s) or just want to complete the mission.

If you are a rebel or a thinker, you would want to find out more of your on-going mission and ask for more opinions or negotiate with your surrounding people related with the mission.

If you are a quitter, you would runaway and leave the sorrow behind.

Do you feel alone in a war when everyone questions your decision to stay in a war that seems not worth it? Or do you feel the adrenaline rush to prove everyone that you can make it regardless of their opinions? Or do you feel that time can proves that everyone is wrong and you are right? Or etc etc etc......

Is this a test of patient? A test of persistency? A test of drive? A test of responsibility? A test of motivation? Or etc etc etc......

Is it really time to ponder the possibilities that people maybe right and sometimes we ourselves need to let go of our so-called "principles", so that end up ourselves having a better life? If the situation or people cannot change, is it time for us to move on? To find better alternatives?

It is not easy to be in a war alone, fighting for a mission without support. It would be more devastating if the mission of the war did not complete after you choose to fight till the end.

The ending - A severely hurt and damage oneself.

Perhaps it is time to open your eyes, listen tentatively and DO NOT follow your heart. But.... be REALISTIC.

It all depends on what the mission is. No matter what others say, it is up to you yourself to think whether the mission is important to you or not.

When i was a teenager, i always fight to prove that i am mature enough to make decision; When i come to work, i used to collect opinions from other (looking for reason) before i make decision; After married, there is no more 'fire burning inside my heart' for any fighting, maybe too many ppl are involved now? Or i m afraid of failed? Or i am too old for any war? Shasha from fighter>thinker>quitter :P

This is hard to be a fighter, but, trust me, you are not alone, atleast someone behind is supporting you always.

As we grow up, we tend to be more mature and realistic, not much a fighter anymore as when we are young.
