Boring topic - My working life

Once and for all, it would be nice that I can elaborate my current job status to my friends here and keep you all updated with one of the most famous quotes from you all, "How's your (new) work?"

In a blink of an eye, I been back in Malaysia for 4 months (in 3 days time). And this will be my 3rd month working with my current company which is "strategically located" somewhere in the heart of KL city (I dun want to elaborate :P).

Somehow I am a workaholic when it comes to work, but it only stays within the 9am to 5:30pm duration. I can skip lunch or have a quick one or eating while working in order to finish up my work asap. Sometimes the work load is crazy and not to mention our team consist of 3 person - 1 boss and 2 followers. Did I mention, the boss is heavily pregnant now?

The best thing I can take away from this job is project management, people management and time management. Working with different people with different ethnic, education and mindset is not easy indeed. And working with a company that is 70% females is "heaven for men" I guess. But, need I remind you, that I am a girl not yet a woman . Wukakaka.

Every now and then, you have to show your fake charming smile and reluctant approving nods towards proposals, comments, rejections and trash work thrown to you. And you really wanna scratch your scalp off your head when you hear the "NO" and "I DON'T KNOW" and "ASK THE OTHER DEPARTMENT" (with finger pointing to the next cubicle/door/area). Basically, after researcher kick start a project, the work needs to travel to 4 departments before it come back to the researcher and project/people management is very important to ensure one to get his/her thing done. The back of your head all you can think is TIMELINE, DEADLINE and then --- I AM A DEAD MEAT!!!

So far, I have only return back to work for one weekend (both Sat and Sun) and thank god didn't need to go for another (after the clients FFK). Never know being FFK can feel so good. This Saturday I may need to turn in. NOOOOOOO *fingers crossed till bruise*.

Sometimes work makes one so frustrated... Then this cross one mind ---- I WANNA MARRY A RICH MAN AND BE A SIU NAI NAI!!! Haha, I believe many girls either really have this target in their life or when frustrated, throw trauma and said that. But after a while (or when cool down), we either get back to reality that rich guys are all taken or we don't have the qualifications to fish the rich guys or we just can't resist to say NO to earn our own money.

Well, personally (at least till date) I can't imagine myself sitting at home whole day, staring at the clock for it to strike 7pm, to hear the familiar tyre turning into the garage sound and my hubby return home and then I grab his slippers for him and had dinner all ready for him (Okay, a bit dramatic). But hey, if I do marry a freaking rich guy, I wouldnt mind being a siu nai nai (coz I be too busy doing spa, my nails, my hair, my brows etc). Wukakaka. Meanwhile, I just bear with the rat race and learn to strike a balance in work and life and enjoy happiness when it comes along.

Damn, it's only Monday............ Counting down to weekend again!!! Wukakaka

Don't just get a rich man.

Get a ORD - Old, Rich and Dying.

When the old man is gone, its time to pursue true love. =p

You can be a siu nai nai and then own a business. Being a boss yourself will definitely better than makan gaji.
