It drags to count down the days that finally your salary is going to bank into your account and knowing that your one digit bank account is screaming at the top of it lungs.
Day 5... day 4... day 3... day 2... day 1... TILL SALARY DAY! (Or PAYCHECK DAY!)
You have to resist to go for that luxurious meal... to resist going out lunch with your colleagues.... to drive the car without aircond on and minimum usage/abuse of the car break and accelerator....
On the day the salary is suppose to go into your bank... You checked your online banking from morning until night (every hour, every 30 minutes, every 15 minutes...)... hoping the figures add on to your one digit bank account....
And then the money appears in your bank... You have to pay for your loans, support your family, car expenses, entertainment expenses, insurance, dating funds etc etc..... And the unforeseen expenses --- such as WEDDING INVITATION!!! Hehehe..... By the time you finished doing all those... you are left with that mere budget to spend on yourself... which you rather save for rainy days... so sad....
But... but... but...
Loans --- You end up owning something
Support your family --- Those people are the dearest to you
Car expenses --- The car is the one who gets you around under sun or rain
Entertainment expenses --- Well, you get entertained, just with a hole in your pocket
Insurance --- Well, you get insured (I guess)
Dating funds --- Well, he/she is after all the person you chosen to be with, see if you can practise unconditional love

Hard to see it nowadays....
I think having a financial plan is very important and setting budgets and emergency funds are essentials (esp for the faint hearted). I am thankful my parents taught me well in terms of money and I try my best to save and also enjoy life accordingly. Gambateh everyone :)
