This morning on my way to work, something strikes my mind.
Well, no doubt people my age (ok, I mean everyone who is working) will tend to talk about their job. Recent years, I realised that when guys talk about their work, they tend to talk about the comfort of the working environment and the bond they have with their colleagues. For girls, they tend to talk more about climbing the cooperate ladder and the bitching of their female colleagues to get noticed in the workforce.
Is this the evolution of the reverse gender role in the workforce?
Men tend to look for comfort in work whereas women want to find recognition & status in work. And in order to achieve that, women have to work twice as hard to prove themselves. More and more women are carrying high positions in established companies. These women are most often labeled as being career-minded and "one kind". If they are not married, then we will go, "No wonder" and excuse her for her strictness (or more infamously known as "fussy-ness") and sorts.
I had worked with mat salleh, China Chinese, Indonesian Malay and Malaysian Malay, Indian and Chinese bosses before (First of all, I am not that old and this is only my 3rd job. My first job, I had 7 bosses, my 2nd job I had 2 bosses and my current job I had 2 bosses). I worked with both men and female bosses. Well, I prefer working with guys, as they more "cin cai" and do not hassle with the small stuffs. However, I agree with my gf that you learned more working with female bosses, coz they push you and you learn to be sharp and "work smart" (else you gonna have a hard life). I am working with a female boss with my current new job.....
All and all, I have to say it is a dog eat dog world. Well, a working environment should have fair shares of guys and girls to motivate us to work!!! Haha, dont tell me you do not agree on that. Do you know how essential it is to hire pretty girl(s) in a company to motivate the guys to work harder?

Definitely agree....
It is very very very very essential to hire pretty girls in order to increase the motivation level...
=p
It's impossible to have at least a good looking girl in my working environment. I do agree with working with male boss is easier than female boss, I had that experience before too. Anyway, my current boss is worst than a female boss...
for the pass 3 company that i worked for...2 of them totally no pretty girls, 1 of them there were some, but not much chance to see them coz we were running shift...
female boss which is very "girl-strong-human" type, ppl say coz they did not have a normal "xxx" life so a bit imbalance..i wonder...
very interesting.
my bosses are female. I have been working in a corporate company for 6 years.
female are more details in their work male work fast and kept paperless if possible.
I have no personal preferences as to work for female or male boss because they has to for some reason, likes you. other wise, forget about everything else.
cheers
all my bosses are male...and i like working with male.
i've got colleagues who work with female bosses and its' really like working in hell, coz the female bosses will pick on them and throw loads of work onto them. also the little little petty stuff also the female bosses will notice...so terrible...
but one thing i agree and notice is when we hire beautiful girls, the guys are more motivated to come to work. hahahahaha....
it's rite, both sexes are dependent and need themselves more than we would admit..specially to the males...
Emm, pretty gals can motivate the guys to work harder? Then, am i the 'pretty gal' that u mentioned?Hahaha, guys only 'semangat' when the pretty gal is AVAILABLE. For my case, *ehem*----negative.
So far my bosses are male. I strongly agree that male bosses are more more more 'cincai' if compare with senior female officer/colleague(s).
One senario i hate the most--female prefer to 'catch' ppl's mistake and spread it over the office...Damn it, shut up and do your work lah, gossip pulak.
